This submission from Professor Jane Kenway and Dr Johannah Fahey, looks at research into the social elements of innovation.

They look at how Government departments which aren't geared towards free thinking, challenging establishment and unorthodox ways of doing things can foster innovation on an institutional level, as well as offering some suggestions.

Kenway and Fahey based at Monash University and are working on a book together, titled Globalising the Research Imagination.
