Book:Foundations of Innovation
From AussieInnovation Wiki
It is very difficult for me to describe this page without using hyperbole; we created this website to encourage innovation in Australia and this section of the wiki represents all of that. While elsewhere on the site we are still learning what infrastructure is needed and how to best encourage interaction, right here John Barker and his collaborators are doing it all. Writing a book is never a simple task and taking on a topic as daunting as "innovation" is a remarkable undertaking. John is taking that one step further here though; he's walking the walk and writing his book in public in this wiki. Please take the time to read what he has here and feel free to add comments, corrections or your thoughts to his work... or at least applaud an Australian Innovator.
The FOUNDATIONS of INNOVATION, TRANSFORMATION and CHANGE
Due to the innovative platform being used to develop this book, it is accessible in a number of different methods and formats. Also note that this is a work in progress and while all of these formats are kept current, they are not yet complete. You may still find those sections that exist helpful and we encourage you to delve in and have a look around regardless. Also, where you find sections that are incomplete or that you could enhance in some way, please jump in and help us out by adding your those missing details! Not only is it easy to do but entering the dialogue on Innovation will improve your life in innumerable ways.
This a manuscript-style "single page" version for those of you that like that format. (Obviously it will make more sense as the writing progresses.) A pretty PDF version of the manuscript will be generated as the book develops but seems unnecessary at the time of writing.
This method of presenting the book takes much greater advantage of the wiki format: you can jump directly to sections that interest you and read or contribute directly.
- Chapter One: So what is Innovation? (You know what I mean….)
- Chapter Two:
This method is perhaps the most wiki of all; digging into this section you can browse through all the topics that this innovative book discusses. Please add category tags to pages as you read them to help build up this index.
