Abstract
“In developing good policy, randomised trials are generally recognised as the gold standard. For example, randomised trials on early childhood interventions (eg. Perry Preschool, Abecdarian Project) are the basis upon which many have argued that we should invest more in that area. However, Australia does virtually no randomised policy trials.
This proposal advocates the establishment of a centralised federal fund to support states and territories in conducting randomised policy trials.”
