Overview
This submission contends that the National Innovation System Review has missed a vital section of the innovation community: the individual idea originators who are not associated with government, big business or academia.
To help individual innovators be heard and have their contributions harnessed in the future, this submission presents six proposals:
- A National Innovations Ombudsman
- A National Innovations Institute
- A National Proven Business Leaders engagement service
- A change to how CTC’s operate to better meet real life circumstances
- A ‘You Can See Your MP Ombudsman’ program
- Funds to assist sustain the work of ‘Community Inventors Associations’
