Abstract

“The Call for Submissions paper recognizes that innovation consists of three facets: origination, deployment and diffusion. In this submission I will address each of these facets from the perspective of an educator in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation. This perspective is important as education is a necessary element of the national innovation system, impacting firms, government, community service providers as well as research providers, and provides a means of addressing the systemic weaknesses addressed in the February 2008 Call for Submissions.”
