Abstract

"All 7 questions raised in the Review relate in some way to the application of computers and software.

It is unlikely that Australia can rapidly obtain a leading position in computer-chip design nor in computer fabrication, nor even, initially, in many areas of software development. However there is a major opportunity to take the lead in global software distribution."
