Abstract
"This submission focuses on issues of immediate concern, following a consultation meeting in Canberra on 17 March 2008.
"The review of science and innovation undertaken by the United Kingdom in 2004 is widely regarded by policy experts as probably the best of its kind in recent years. I think it is the one that the current Australian Review should be benchmarked against, in terms of breadth, process and outcomes.
"The UK review had a breadth that appears to be absent from the current Review’s terms of reference."
